Getting settled in
Step 1: Register for free

Before you can post questions, you must first register and be logged in. Click here to register for free. If you are already registered, continue to the next step.
Step 2: Search for a solution
Search for a solution to your problem, and try any steps as long as they seem safe. If in doubt, go to step 3 now. Click here to search.
Step 3: Choose the place to post your question(s)
If you have a problem with viruses or spyware, post your question in the Malware/threat removal forum. If you are having issues with your computer; such as hardware issues, software troubleshooting, or other issues, post in one of the forums in the PC Help category.
Step 4: Create a new topic
After choosing the forum you want to post your questions in, click this button:
to start a new topic.
Step 5: Posting your question
>> When you click the New Topic button, you will see a new page.
>> For the subject of the thread, please write something descriptive. For example, do not write "I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!" -- instead write something descriptive like "Antivirus 2009 infection" or "Error code 0x00000020". This will help assist the expert that tries to help you, so they can begin researching immediately.
In the body section, big white space, type in a detailed description of any and all problems you are having.

Step 6: Wait for a reply
It may take a few minutes, to up to three days for a reply.
If you have been waiting for three whole days, and have not received a reply, then please post in this topic and we will draw attention to your problem.
