What is it?

  • Think of biological viruses, and how they are nasty and keep your body functioning odd for several days. It often requires something powerful to get rid of it.
  • That is the case in computer viruses. They continue to plague you until you get something powerful to get rid of it!

How did you get infected?

  • File sharing. Peer-to-peer networks.
  • Bad websites.
  • Opening SPAM email and emails attachments.
  • Downloading free games, warez, toolbars, videos, and bad software.
Symptoms

  • Slow PC performance.
  • Weird computer behavior.
  • Unexplained and indifferent data loss.
  • Frequent computer crashes.
