Worst exploits have hit these major companies. Now time to clean up. To do so, these companies must make sure the product is correctly secure.

Mozilla and Google put out several beta releases for their web browser every month. This is no surprise. But now, it is much more evident that these two are working hard with the beta testing community. Google has not said much lately to the beta testers, but it is obvious they are working hard, especially with the Google Chrome OS still in development. Mozilla promises the user community (not beta testers, just End Users) that the next release of Firefox will allow for third-party software to integrate in to it to prevent crashes. They also promise that Firefox will alert users about out-of-date plugins, so users can stay safe from exploits. Another great way to improve the anti-malware of Firefox.

Microsoft promises hundreds of new features for Silverlight, after its current beta release. Microsoft promises developers a good amount of features to help in rich application development.

Lastly, Adobe is the tip-top of the list, as these beta releases are not usual.

Here is the information released on the official Adobe beta testing page for Flash Player 10.1:

Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 is the first runtime release of the Open Screen Project that enables uncompromised Web browsing of expressive applications, content and video across devices. With support for a broad range of mobile devices, including smartphones, netbooks, smartbooks and other Internet-connected devices, Flash Player 10.1 allows your content to reach your customers wherever they are.

A prerelease version of Flash Player 10.1 is now available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems. A beta is expected to be available for Palm webOS later this year. Sign up to be notified when Flash Player 10.1 for Palm Pre beta is available.
