10. Rupert Murdoch of News Corporation blocks Google from indexing his news sites.
9. 3D Television begins. Expect clear, dazzling television. (HDTV with 3D).
8. OpenID, Facebook Connect, and other authenticating services for autologin will be much more popular. Most popular sites are turning to Facebook Connect and others to help users log in. Although this helps users, it is a danger because of the "master password" idea. If anyone gets your Facebook login information, then they can use it on others websites to log in. It is a recipe for disaster for sure!
7. Just like computer programs, iPhone app development will skyrocket. As it already has in 2009, so will it do in 2010, as well.
6. McAfee's strange predictions on security in 2010 state that Adobe products and Google Chrome (and OS) will likely be the most targets for hackers. What is actually possible is the rise in rogue security programs, which continually scam users. Which is why I have taken the next step in to developing an anti-rogue software. This is a severe issue, and needs to be dealt with.
5. Microsoft announces the start of development on Windows 8, a potential cloud-based Windows operating system. Windows 8 is expected to be a very secure, next-generation operating system that hackers cannot break in to. Stricter application rules, and root entrance rules are established - just like Linux.
4. Google Goggles and other Augmented reality holographic products will take development, and potential release.
3. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, is expected to be ousted. Reasons stated are the Windows Vista problems, and dropping stock prices in Microsoft ever since Ballmer took office. With Bill Gates stepping down, there will need to be a new man take over as CEO, if Microsoft wants to live as the top tech company.

1. Mozilla releases Firefox 3.6. Also releases Firefox 4.0 beta.
