Yes I install the windows updates normally when the pop-up appears. Also the update settings are set to check for updates every day at a certain time.

There was a Windows Update that you installed that caused the CPU to hit high all the time. Now after doing the System Restore, the computer is not doing that anymore.

install only these updates (look for the code in the Update list)

KB978380 << Update for Microsoft Office
KB978382 << Security Update for Microsoft Excel

After installing the following updates and restarting the system:

KB978380 << Update for Microsoft Office
KB978382 << Security Update for Microsoft Excel

The CPU was high for about 5 minutes and after the CPU wasn't as high, it is more like 5,10,15% with only internet explorer running.

Yesterday I told you my computer had 5 updates left but today when I turned on the computer it had two updates which were for Windows defender and Microsoft security essentials and after about 30 minutes it installed the security essentials update and the windows defender update after about 5 minutes and I know there installed because it states that in the update history.

Nothing happening to the CPU yet and will not hopefully.

Never is for Windows. One day it will be fine, the next day it will be slow. Just practice safe surfing and you will be fine.
