Whenever your display is having crashes, hanging, or broken spells...it might be a sign of video card corruption.

Whether it is crackling sounds that can be heard on the outside, or just a broken display when the video card must work.

You can get help in this very thread to help diagnose issues.

1. Hearing sounds from inside the computer >>> Not necessarily video card
2. Running tasks on your computer, as well as hearing sounds >>> Potential issue
3. Doing tasks that require the use of your video card, you hear sounds, and your computer freezes >> likely the video card.

So, what to do?

It is recommended to replace a failing video card.
