HISTORY
SDFix is a program developed by AndyManchesta. This powerful tool is a worthy, working removal tool. Please note the key word in the former phrase: POWERFUL. It removes many types of tough trojans or worms. The tool requires a logged-on administrator and it must be used carefully.
The following tool belongs to AndyManchesta. HMOS Accepts no ownership, and no responsibility of the use of this tool. The instructions to use the tool, however, were done on HMOS Tests. When referring to this tool, refer to its owner AndyManchesta, not HMOS.

How to fix: :idea:
Click on the Start menu, then Run, and then copy and paste the following line into the Run field:
%systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\swreg IMPORT %systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\Enable_Command_Prompt.reg
Press OK then run SDFix again
ISSUE:
If the Command Prompt window flashes on then off again on XP or Windows 2000How to fix:
Click on the Start menu, then Run, and then copy and paste the following line into the Run field:
%systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe /K %systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\FixPath.exe
Then click OK, then type Y and press Enter when prompted, Reboot and start SDFix again
ISSUE:
If SDFix still doesn't run check the %comspec% variable

Click on the Start button then right-click on My Computer and select
properties. Then click on the AdvancedEnvironment Variables. Under
System Variables, make sure that the ComSpec variable points to
%SystemRoot%\system32\cmd.exe

PROCESS
- Log on as an administrator.
- Download SDFix from any download link above.
- Open it from your desktop.
If a security warning appears, be sure to click Run.- You will see a window open showing SDFix being extracted to its own folder
- Prepare to reboot your computer by clicking shut down or restart.
- Boot up in to safe mode (press F8 repeatedly when the first screen appears.
- Be sure to choose Safe Mode. Do not choose SM With Networking/Command Prompt.
- When safe mode starts up, please click the start and then click Run. In the field, please enter C:\SDFix\RunThis.bat and then click OK
- This window will appear

- Continue using Y
- It will start scanning. This process will take a while.
- After the scan, it will prompt for restart. DO NOT INTERRUPT THE SCAN AT ANY TIME!
- After it reboots in to normal mode, the SDFix will start up again and perform its last scan.
- Then the screen will appear telling you it is finished.
- The SDFix log will then appear. As it is saved to your desktop, it is made available to you at any time.
