hi

I have a wi-fi modem. I share it with my friend.

Sometimes i get slow download speeds. What can i do to boost my LAN/internet speed or restrict his speed so that I can get better speed??

Hi

I don't think you can modify that.

Try to power cycle it once. Just unplug the router and plug it back in, see if that helps.

AVG might be a problem there.

Care to remove AVG, then test to see if the computer will speed up?
