Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

(Note: if you already have the program installed, open Malwarebytes from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut, click the Update tab, and click Check for Updates, before doing the scan as instructed below!)

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. If you are prompted to restart, please allow it to restart your computer. Failure to do this, will cause the infection to still be active on the computer.
  
• Please save the log to a location you will remember.
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

What other signs of infection are there? Still the same issue as the beginning?

It has been going on for about 3 months bow. In the beginning I would go onto my accounts, my myspace, facebook, and even my email and all my passwords would be change but nothing seemed to be messed with on the account itself. it never mattered how elaborate I made the passwords (so elaborate even I forgot them sometimes) and it still managed to get changed. I made a new email and a new facebook having suspicions on who is the culprit and they still got a hold of my information. And they even went as far to to post personal photo's of me that were only on my computer for a day. I had to fight with my computer for 2 hours to get everything back and I deleted my facebooks. But i can't delete my emails because I have important thins in there. I'm scared to do anything, even after all this help. I don't know if anything has really changed...

I think all the adware that was on your computer was part of it.

SeekMo, Zango, and HotBar are all part of the Pinball Publisher Network (PPN), which is a phishing network to gather personal information, and send you targeted affiliate ads, so you will click on them. When you click on them, the PPN gains a small profit (per click).

The Pinball Publisher Network has had nothing but bad comments, via WOT.

They are also engaged in BlackHat SEO, via hpHosts.


Please go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program, and make sure all three of those are removed. (Zango, SeekMo, and HotBar).

Then, please run this scan...
