A quick thank you to "houndmom" for showing me where to post
The error is: res iereframe.dll dsnerror.htm
I have been everywhere on the net and have tried all "fixes" for this error that I have found but nothing has worked...
The computer OS is Xp home edition service pack 3
It is connected to the internet w/ "excellent" speed and my other laptop and iPad connect and hit the net w/ no prob, so not my router. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ie8, I've tried running firefox and google chrome but receive same error. I've been thru the steps listed on this site for "limited and no connectivity issues", ipconfig/ flush dns, I've also "renew" and tried "release", I have tried running malware and did catch a "worm.autorun" which Im pretty sure malware removed then dumped the prefetch and temp files. I've checked all wireless and LAN settings. I've checked to make sure I only have one firewall on
I'm beginning to think wiping this machine is going to be next.
Ideas anyone??...
