Gateway DX-441X will not powerup after power outage. Powersupply checks out with proper voltage checks. Can this mother board be "reset"???

Hi,
Took out battery from motherboard, but unplug motherboard from power supply first (or just shut down electrical power for computer) and wait approximate 3 minutes. After that, put battery inside and turn on your computer. BIOS should be reseted now and you should be able to turn on your computer. If you have any other question, feel free to ask.
