I have a program called Memories On TV, creates multimedia photo slide shows. I have put hours into this project and suddenly I get an error message from Microsoft telling me it needs to close down. When I click on the technical info I get the following information:
0xc0000005

Several websites say to purchase registry cleaning programs. I have CC Cleaner; however when I downloaded "free" programs to check my system they show 800 or so issues that CC Cleaner does not. Should I pay for 1 of these programs, and if so which is best? Will this actually fix my problem so I can work on my project?

Thanks in advance for your future correspndence.

Best,
RNRStrega

Hi, welcome to HelpMyOS!

I highly doubt that would fix your error. What exactly is showing 800 errors?

They're claiming "registry errors" from programs removed in the past. I don't recall exactly. Do you know what the "error"...0XC0000005...could be?

I'm using digital pictures, some scanned & uploaded photos, short digital video clips, and mp3 audio files in this multimedia slide show. The program is Memories On TV, I called their tech support. The guy said he tech supports for several programs and rarely gets calls for this program and was unable to figure out the issue. This happened on 2 computers now while trying to create this slide show.

Pretty sure it is a bug within the program itself rather then the computer. Perhaps you could try an alternative?
