Cheetah-Fast has been notified of potentially weak encryption certificates being distributed by DigiCert Sdn. Bhd.
In total, 22 weak certs. were distributed recently, which contained 512-bit keys.
Apparently, the DigiCert Sdn. Bhd. has revoked all certificates issued with weak keys.
Also, Mozilla has released Firefox 8 and 3.6.24 with an update including to protect against weak certificates. In addition, Microsoft issued an update securing against this: Microsoft Security Advisory 2641690.
DigiCert Sdn. Bhd. has said "We view the allegations as very serious and we vehemently deny any fraudulent act on our part."
