Update: Facebook porn spam caused by clickjacking vulnerability on Wed Nov 16, 2011 9:18 am
Newsfeeds after newsfeeds of hardcore porn and other hardcore animal images have been found filled on Facebook the past couple of days.
Security reports indicate a potential XSS vulnerability is to blame, after its initial investigation.
Users are tricked in to sharing a specifically crafted URL/Facebook status.
While some security experts speculate the potential of Anonymous being involved, because of their "Fawkes virus", it is not clear how this vulnerability was exploited.
Also, it is best to protect against these types of attacks. It is not yet clear which browser is being exploited.
You may want to consider purchasing the PRO version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to protect against these types of threats.
