iTunes scams identified credit card fraud on Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:54 am
After reviewing recent spam reports, apparently a specifically crafted email stating it is from the iTunes store, is actually from a spamming group whom are distributing malware. This malware comes in the form of a specially crafted attachment loaded with a trojan dropper.
From a $50 gift card offered to $100 gift card, these emails were sure targeted to people looking for good holiday deals, possibly Black Friday deals.
The backdoor dropped is identified by Cheetah-Fast as Trj.Bredolab-Backdoor.
This critical threat is an old style backdoor trojan.

Win32/TrojanDownloader.Bredolab.AA (ESET)
