Update: Occupy Dayton, Occupy Wall Street - What's Next for Anonymous? on Thu Dec 01, 2011 9:42 am
City officials in Dayton, OH, a city close to Cheetah-Fast Services, have announced that the group that label themselves as "Occupy Dayton" are subject to clear out. The group is blamed for camping out in a downtown park after Sunset, a city rule clearly violated. The Montgomery County Commission (which governs Dayton) are considering a rule prohibiting camping out on the downtown Courthouse Square.
Camping in the park is apparently a minor misdemeanor, however, it doesn't appear anyone was fined or arrested because of these issues.
The protesting is mainly based on perceived corporate influence in government, and the gap between the rich and the poor. A protesting movement that is unlikely to have much effect, and some protests prove to be naive.
Although these protesters were awarded for their efforts of free speech, camping out and standing in policing way is not a good idea!
What the problem is...they just can't camp anywhere they want.
Their next few days of events are as follows:
Today:
Anonymous versus Scientology campaign in Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.
Freedom of Information Rally in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Tomorrow:
::Freedom of Information Rallies::
333 Post St., Union Square, San Francisco, CA.
618 Central Ave. Southwest, The Launchpad/El Rey, Albuquerque, NM.
