Social media is the empire of spamming to spammers. Spammers call it their empire, because many users are not aware, that if they put their email address on their own profile, they are risking being spammed via email.

Twitter users are the next big victim, while Facebook users are the current victims. Spammers are aiming attacks at the three most talked about social networks: Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook.

My advice to you: do not tweet your email address...Case Closed!
