Oh NO!!!MOTHERBOARD Troubleshooting 101
HMOS WARNING:
The edges of metal panels can cut skin. Be careful not to slide skin along any interior metal edge of the computer.
!!!YOU MUST FIRST GROUND THE BOARD BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING!!!
-Unplug the computer after first shutting down. Then, hold in the power button for five seconds, which helps to ground the board.
1. After grounding the board, plug the computer back in. Turn on the computer.
2. Look for flashing lights, error messages; or listen for beeps.
Confused? If there are no multiple beeps or error messages while the computer is
starting, the motherboard is most likely not the cause of the issue.
What is the problem then?
- NTDLL is corrupt - [NTDLL Internal support functions and system service dispatch stubs to executive functions.]
- OS Missing or corrupt.
- Voltage on the power supply is not 115v. Instead it is set to 230v or other number.
- Power cable is corrupt.
- Resource conflicts. (Resolved doing reset boot)
| NOTE: | If the steps in this document failed to resolve your issue, the processor, memory, or motherboard may be bad. |
