Saved searched have to be created by MS-Search. The actual link extension is *.ms-search
In Computer, search for something, then you might see on the left pane, about halfway down "Search results in Computer." Right click on that and click Save Search. Simply take it from there when saving it, so you have a ready search shortcut.
